I received 2 SMSes at around 5:50 am this morning, one from Tiwazz and one from Bee, to wake me up for the BG Run today. I got up and realised that it was raining, not very heavily, but there was rumbling of thunder and the occasional flash of lightning. Ah well, I figured that I should still go for the run, since the least we could do is to go for a group makan session if we were not able to run.
In spite of the wet weather, there was a splendid turnout at the old SMU: Tiwazz, Bee, Yankee, SportsVenturer, Dasher, Meteor, Alvo, Jamessoh, T@z, Brokie, Le_Charlotte, Cosmic_Wind, Cheow12, Cokiee and Hedgehog. There were also some new faces (to me): FattyBomBom, Nemo, Igloo, Van, Daisiki, Junie_Tang and PatrickChia.
We also met our dear Filipino running friends, Roda and company, who were at the old SMU for a Filipino Sports Meet.
They expressed their interest in joining us for our next BG run. Cool!
After briefing the group, we started on our run at 7:30 am, by which time the rain had already stopped.
