Practicality and speaks when you can't. Besides, it looks cool too. Having a Vietnam GI dogtag equivalent. Consider a cosmetic accessory that serves a decent purpose and not just sitting pretty. Possibly life saving purpose.

I think the ID band is a good idea which runners run daily. Infact I need 1 of this band. I do had High Blood Pressure in early days as my mom had. I seek for doctor advice and medication given. I took medication for a period and I stopped. I get myself to start training on treadmill for a period of 2 years. Later I loss weight and I start running outside. Most of the time I will run alone during weekdays in the evening. I run with my own pace about 8km-10km, 5 times a week. I don't use to carry any identification with me because I perspire alot and even my MP3 player keep changing to a new set. If 1 day which I run and suddenly collasp, the ID band will have all the my medical information on it. This remind me during army days which we had dog tag wear around the neck. Sometimes U might not know the ID band can save a person life.
