Woke up on event morning a little sore because I’ve gone a little too hard on the push ups few days ago and clocked a game of casual tennis the day before, resulting in abrasion to the toe (ouch!). But you’ll never know, sometimes better times are clocked when you’re feeling tired at the start but it just melts away as the race goes on so I still have to try my best.

The course starts from the Perth CBD and the HM runners will run up Kings Park overlooking the city while FM runners will run along Swan River before looping back towards Kings Park then to the beach. The shorter distances will go straight from CBD to City Beach.

Just like the previous year participants gathered at the Open Space between Block 121 & 123 Bukit Merah View on a special Sunday Morning to challenge themselves in completing the 10k Mount Faber run which was organised by the VGO Corporation. The route will test the runners as they make their way across the Bukit Merah area and towards Mount Faber, where a series of uphill and downhill terrains awaits them.

With the Trifactor Triathlon in September, I thought it would be a good idea to do the Osim International (mini-distance) and practice the feel of transiting from swim to bike to run, especially the cycling part after years of layoff (Not that I was any good in the 1st place).

30th May 2009; while some people are enjoying their weekend nights at home resting or enjoying the night life. Changi Point witnessed a gathering of runners from all over Singapore, all with one goal in mind to compete/ take part in the Adidas Sundown Marathon 2009. The organiser had set up the carnival tent equipped with a giant movie screen in the middle of Changi Point. Baggage holding tents were also present which helped keep the valuables safe.

Does it matter when the rain fell as soon as I stepped out of home. When you woke up at 5.45am on a Sunday morning for a run, you BETTER get a run! So despite the spoiler, drove down to the Co-Curriculum Activities Branch for the Sgrunners 4th Year Anniversary Run.

The TNF 100km is an ultra marathon and is to date the toughest race in Singapore. Most races are about speed but for this particular rce it is more on the endurance. TNF 100k is part of a global series of The North Face endurance races, which includes the legendary Canadian Death Race and the Ultra-Taril du Mont Blanc, where athletes tackle the most grueling trails, highest mountain summits, river and canyon crossings. TNF100km Singapore is one-leg of the 5 country Asian Series.
